If there is anything that I have always believed in, it is the fact that a person should never stop learning. Indeed, you can’t expect to cope or deal with the situations and circumstances that life continuously throws at you if you don’t learn new things or at least try to adapt. That has been my simple philosophy in life ever since, and I must say that it hasn’t failed me. And it definitely helps that I love learning new things all the time, there are even times when I feel as if time is just not enough to cram in all the things I want to know about. So I just content myself with what I can learn with the extra time that I have when I am not working.
Perhaps my best accomplishment recently has been to finally learn how to weld. Joining two pieces of metal together might sound like a simple operation, but it is actually a delicate process that truly requires maximum focus and effort. It was not something that I dared to learn on my own, as I had an instructor teach me the basics of arc welding first. So far I am satisfied with my progress, and especially because arc welding also offers some variety to it, what with stick welding, Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. Suffice to say, I already have my hands full learning these basic processes.
