Life abounds with unexpected things. Things that one moment we know next to nothing of, and the next we are so enthusiastic to pursue and learn everything that we can about this new thing. And then from that point, the interest just grows even more and becomes such a major part of one’s life and simply reaches another level. I know that’s what happened to me with welding, and it was totally unexpected on my part. I can even say that it was the farthest thing from my interests, so that just made even more surprising for everyone when I got interested in it and became involved. The funny thing was that I even surprised myself.
So I became enamored with welding, including all the different types of processes that is involved in it. And I not only gained new knowledge, as I also enjoyed the learning process and of course, the actual welding when I did it. So I did it regularly, and then I craved for even more knowledge about the subject, which is why when I heard about plastic welding, I was intrigued in a major way. Plastic welding is also known as hot sealing, and is the process by which plastic work pieces are welded together. Actually, it is one of the most common practices for joining together plastics. Further exciting me was the fact that there are several welding techniques involved in plastic welding. The following are some of those techniques: Heat seal, freehand welding, speed tip welding, hot gas welding, and extrusion welding, contact welding, and injection welding. I’m also much interested in what the best plastic welder might be.
