Cheap means quality, if you can find it these days. There’s no question that it is desirable, the question is whether you can chance upon such a good deal. And when you do, there is little reason to doubt that you will be taking advantage of the opportunity, since it seems quite rare and might not come your way again. Since an item or product that is affordable does not guarantee great quality, and the rare ones that do so are becoming rarer by the day, it is becoming much more sought after. More often than not, cheap means that you can expect a significant dip in quality, so anything that goes against that would be most welcome.
The above is definitely applicable to the way I go about my hobby, which is welding.
