Who wouldn’t want to be good at something? It is a safe bet that every one of us would like to be good at some of the things that we do, and if possible, in most of them. It might be the kind of work that we do or even the hobbies that we enjoy, but the bottom line is that we love to be good at things. Doing something well is already enough of an incentive to make we are able to do it often enough. That was what happened to me when I discovered how fun and useful welding can be, and I was hooked ever since.
I have been particularly drawn to Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, which is also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). There is a very good reason why this has happened, and that is due to the ease with which I have been able to learn and use TIG Welding. It’s not a secret that TIG Welding is the most precise and easy to manage form of welding there is, although it also has a reputation for being the slowest means of welding. It also features an easy to use interface that allows you to simply select the material and the material thickness range. Priced at around $1,349.99.
• Miller 907135017 Maxstar 150 STL TIG Stick Welder – This welder features the new exclusive multi volt plug that allows for connection of 115 to 230 V without any use of tools. It is very portable, whether you are using it at home or in the shop, there isn’t any difficulty in carrying it around at all. Sells for about $1.695.00.
