I am a busy man who still manages to have several hobbies. Having a number of hobbies while managing to be very busy with important is something of an achievement, at least in my book it is one. What really keeps me so busy is my little business that I run on my own, although I do have a small staff that I depend upon. It is a little office that deals with online transactions and such, which is growing a little and showing some real promise. Then there are my hobbies, which include farming, fishing, welding, and a few others. Farming and welding are my main hobbies that usually take up most of whatever free time that I get to have.
Farming and welding can sometimes be thought of as an unlikely pair of hobbies. The reason that can be given is that the two seems to be too remote and different from one another. In fact, I developed my love and passion for each separately, which is nothing unusual given the difference that separates one from the other. Although when you really do look at it a little more carefully, you can see the possible correlation between the two. After all, aren’t there plenty of machinery used in a farm, and when some of those break, them welding equipment would surely come in handy. That is assuming of course, that someone on the farm has some welding skills. That was why I though tit fortunate that I was already well versed with different welding techniques when I bought my farm.
Since I have been known to be involved in both farming and welding, I have often been asked what I consider to be the best farm welder. Now that was always a question that I considered tricky, in the sense that there are so many things to do on the farm, even as it relates to just welding itself. To give a clearer picture of that, I have listed down some of the situations and circumstances on a farm that requires the services of a welder and welding equipment.
• Patching up the sheet metal on the different equipment that are used on the farm
• Repairing and constructing fences around and within the farm’s grounds
• Mending and repairing the seeders, wagons, spreaders and all kinds of farming machinery that have a tendency to break down while in use in the field
• Fixing the tanks of stainless steel sprayers
• Welding the tubes of a milking parlor in place
